Yes, the total cost is now higher. Nepali students must now add NPR 35,000–40,000 extra just for the visa fee. This can impact your sponsor’s budget or loan amount, especially if you had planned using the old fee.
If you applied before June 30, no need to panic — your application will be processed under the old AUD 1,600 rate. But for everyone applying now, it’s time to adjust.

This is about NPR 14+ lakh, separate from tuition fees. Whether you’re self-funding, using a bank loan, or supported by a sponsor, you must now prove stronger financial backing.
